The Manifestation You Believe You Want VS What You Actually Desire To Manifest
We only really badly want a physical manifestation because we subconsciously hope it’s gonna give us a certain feeling that we crave or miss. The strong need to manifest a certain physical thing is actually just the strong urge to fill the void of that feeling not being felt by us already.
Understanding manifestation is really exciting. We are told on social media that we can literally create and attract anything we want. And then it gets us going… I want a new car… I want a house! Wait no, if I can have anything that I want then I’d like to be rich and travel the world with my soulmate!
Well, the thing is that most of the time we don’t actually desire the physical manifestation. We just make ourselves believe that because that’s how we translate the need to feel a certain feeling – and that’s okay.
As someone who is obsessed with deliberate manifestation and very ambitious when it comes to reaching physical goals, I will describe to you exactly what it feels like when you are trying to manifest something based on a missing feeling and how you actually get closer to manifesting that thing.
I wrote this blog post for everyone who wants to manifest out of alignment.
1. Find your reason why you actually crave that thing you want to manifest into reality
I’ve been wanting to go or better said move to New York so bad. There were months when I wasn’t thinking about anything else but NYC. I imagined myself walking in Central Park, staying in a penthouse, getting matcha lattes in Manhattan, and going to pilates on a rooftop. Omg, this sounds super superficial when I say it out loud haha – but isn’t that what happens when we think about our physical manifestations?
There are 2 main reasons why I wanted to move to NYC. One I was totally aware of. The other one really surprised me because I have been doing this healing work already for a while and I thought I could spot it now when I’m craving physical things because I’m missing a feeling somewhere but man can we be convinced of things.
The first reason why I kept dreaming of living in NY is the access to all the possibilities you have there (dance & theater classes, yoga & pilates on rooftops, all types of sports), everything you would want to try is there.
To me, NY means a lot of fun because I could do all my passions & hobbies I dreamed of doing. You can do those things in other cities too but it feels different. They might not be as accessible or there aren’t as many options to choose from.
But having access to all these activities didn’t explain why I am so in love with the idea of living in a penthouse in NY or walking around Central Park. So I asked myself: what actually comes to my mind when I think of New York? What immediately popped up was the people. Successful people, millionaires, people who “made it in life”…
Aaaaahhhhh and there it is!
And here I was thinking I only wanted to move there because NY would bring me a lot of fun. But it really never is just that.
Not when we keep thinking about it nonstop and feel that NEED to be there right now anyway.
I emotionally connected myself to the statement “If you can make it in NY you can make it anywhere!”.
I always had this thing where I wanted to feel like I made it in life. I want to feel successful, I want to feel powerful, special…
– which for sure has to do with my childhood combined with the goals that came from it.
On top of that, I also want to manifest a lot of money in my life to where I can quit my “9-5” and live a geographically & financially free life. Since living in NY is very expensive and I mean I wouldn’t just move there to end up homeless… I had to “make it in life”. If I ever really lived in New York, that would mean I would be successful with whatever I’m doing, because I now can afford living there.
And then “omg I get to feel so powerful because I made it to freaking NYC”.
2. How to actually bring the manifestation in your day-to-day reality
The thing is the more we give those feelings to ourselves right now, the less we need a physical outcome. The more satisfaction we feel in our current life the less we crave those material things. But how do we actually get there?
I started dancing at home because it just brings me so much fun and without even really thinking about it I decided that I wasn’t gonna wait anymore until I’m in NY going to dance class in order to allow myself to dance.
So here I am dancing every morning in my bathroom having so much freaking fun – no money and no other thing could ever bring me – I’m not kidding.
I don’t know why especially dancing brings me so much fun – but it’s a passion of mine haha.
The more I would do this the less I would think about NY and going to dance class.
Simultaneously I am proving to myself every day how I already made it in life and how I am already successful, powerful and financially abundant & wealthy. You can do this with little tiny moments in your day-to-day.
“I already made it because I applied for this job and I got it!”
“I am creating abundance around me because I notice the abundance in trees and nature.”
“I am financially wealthy because I was able to buy myself food today.”
“I feel so powerful because I asked if I could get Friday off and I did.”
To summarize this:
What I thought I wanted: life in NY
What I actually want: feeling successful & fun in my life
So the more fun I am having at home dancing and the more I am making myself feel like I already made it – the less I am caring about moving to NY.
Would I still like to live there or at least visit? Duuhh – I mean it’s a city that has so much to offer right?
But I don’t feel that strong craving and that need anymore to go there to make me feel successful and my life is fun.
3. And that’s how you attract things in your life
Figure out your WHY! Why do you want that thing you can’t stop thinking about?
You give the feeling you expect that thing to give you – already to yourself and/or you include a physical action that you assume you would be doing once you had that thing you want. All on a on a daily basis.
You automatically pull it down from the pedestal and then no longer need that thing to make you feel a certain way.
You stop craving it and therefore you stop pushing it away because there no longer is resistance.
You end up getting that physical thing you initially wanted anyway because what we attract in life always amplifies how we already feel.
(If it’s still in your highest good to get it because you might not even want it anymore because now you filled that void within you already.)
However, it is still okay to want physical things! That’s what we are here for! We are spiritual beings in a physical world – you might have heard that saying before haha. We have an ego for a reason. Most of us aren’t supposed to just live in the bush spiritually gaslighting ourselves in “we don’t need anything from the 3D” without ever enjoying, wanting, and creating physical things.
Btw I tried this before haha and I started missing things because yes we are energetic beings but we chose to experience the 3D, this world, and this system for a reason.
So there are not only energetic things you might desire such as spiritual enlightenment, inner peace, the connection to yourself & your soul and god/source but also maybe living a wealthy lifestyle where you get to retire the people you love and where you get to live an adventures lifestyle with a lot of freedom.
I really hope this post helped you figure out what you want because you are missing a feeling and what you actually desire to create as a nice add-on.
